My friend's brother said that using iron-on adhesive for placement of scout patches was for "boys with no mothers". So, yesterday I spent 2 hours sewing patches on 3 scout uniforms-- with 'invisible' thread. It looks horrible...like a two year old did it. All of the patches are crooked. I hate to sew.The way I see it, iron-on adhesive ranks up there with the greatest of modern day conveniences like gas powered cars, microwave ovens, and epidurals.
From this day forward I will attach scout patches with iron on adhesive.
And my boys do have a mother.

That's funny. I found a Chinese man that sews mine on for me because I want it to look like my boy has a mother...but it's a Chinese man.
