Busy Week

Well, this past week has been a busy one, for sure. It started out last Monday with a quick trip to the emergency room with Tater Bug. He crashed on his bike when he was trying to be like Tony Hawk, or the Flying Tomato, or Evil Knievel...(who knows, the kid's got an IMAGINATION!!!)...and broke the growth plate in his elbow.

 At first he thought it was super cool to have a cast, but now that we're a week into it, he's not thinking it's too cool anymore.  It's going to be a long 6-8 weeks!!

We see a Pediatric Orthopaedic this Thursday and he will determine what course we'll need to take as far as surgery, etc.  I'm definitely hoping for NO surgery.  I guess we'll see...

He's been named the designated bat boy on his baseball team for the rest of the season. 

After his game on Saturday he said, "Mommy, I'm sad that I broke my arm.  Really sad."

Then he hugged me and ran off to play with his friends. 

I'm glad the sadness didn't last very long. 

On Wednesday, we were lucky enough to have Bevan, Donna, and Baby Anna come and stay with us for a few days!  They were anxious to get out of the snow in Utah, and I think they really enjoyed the warm Arizona sun.  I toted Anna around for 3 days straight, and had fun showing her off to my friends at the ball park, as well as at church on Sunday.  She is a sweetheart and we're sure going to miss her until we get to see her again!!

 Now, I have 24 hours until my next Utah guest arrives. 

We are looking forward to spending the next 7 days with Grandma H!!
