BUSY

Today was spent painting the master bedroom and bath.
I started at 9 a.m. and finished with everything (clean-up, etc.) at around 9:30 p.m.
The first thing I did was get rid of these hideous pink flowers above the door.  I read about a neat little trick involving liquid fabric softener and water to remove wallpaper...
It worked like a dream!
The flowers came right off and left nothing to be scraped away!
Next, I "cut in" the edges...the biggest pain of any paint job--in my humble opinion.
A few hours later the room was looking good in a lovely color called "wicker".
It was a long day, but I'm so happy that it's done and I can cross it off of my "To Do" list.
Oh, and for the record...Lowe's claim that their Valspar "Hi Def" paint covers over dark colors in one coat is a crock!  Don't believe it!
