For those of you who are Disney fans, you may be familiar with "Boo's door". You know...Boo...on Monsters, Inc.
No?
Well, it looks like this:
I love this door. It's so cute painted pink and all, and it even has flowers on it. I would like a door like this in my house. I'm sure the boys would complain, though.
Anyway...

I absolutely HATE this door:
Why?
Well, I'm glad you asked.
It's because behind that door is this:
Most of the time I just keep the door shut. I'm like a two year old that way. If I can't see it, it's just not there. It's a nightmare...or even worse: a night terror! It's like a nuclear bomb went off and nothing survived. Actually, it's like some crazy mom told her 4 sons to go up and clean the playroom, but didn't supervise while they did it...
Oh, wait. That's me.
So, today I was looking for the paint swatches (I don't think that's even the proper term for those little, teeny, tiny pieces of paper with a little, teeny, tiny bit of paint color on them...how in the world are you supposed to pick out paint from that teeny, tiny little sample??...oooo, sorry...went off on a rant there...) that I got from Lowe's and couldn't find them anywhere. A little voice in my head told me to look in the playroom, but I ignored it and kept on looking for them. Eventually I went back to the playroom...
I realized that while the boys were "cleaning" the playroom the swatches probably got thrown into the toy closet. I took a deep breath and moved slowly, but confidently, toward "the door". Sure enough, the paint swatches were in there. After surveying the damage, I got in my car and headed straight to Wally World to pick up a few of these:
After 2 hours, and "what in the world is that?" mumbled under my breath a few times, I conquered the closet. Now it looks like this:

And...I no longer hate that door.
At least for now.
