Tigers and Cowboys and Kickball, Oh My!!

We have had a fun couple of days! On Friday, Tate and I headed to the zoo to meet up with Rachel and Maddie, and Nikkel and Austin. We had fun looking at all of the animals and catching up. On Friday night we headed out to San Tan Flat, with the Stecks, for a surprise birthday party for our friend, Mark. It was such a cool place! You can eat inside, or go outside and sit near a fire pit and listen to the live band play. They even have a dance floor if the mood strikes. The only pictures that I got were of Sara roasting the perfect mallow.
Today was a busy day. Kevin had to work this morning. Tanner had little league tryouts at 9 a.m., and then Ty had his tryout at 11 a.m. When Kevin got home from work we went out to Power Ranch to have a rowdy game of kickball with the Steck and Foote families. The kids, and the big kids, had a fantastic time. When we got home we had a delicious dinner of steak and lobster, followed up with chocolate dipped strawberries. YUM!!
The boys had cards from Auntie Amy, Aunt Charlyce and Uncle Don, and G&G Young. The opened a gift bag from G&G Hawkins that had candy (of course) and Madagascar 2. Then Kevin and I gave them a new game for the Wii.
All in all, it was a great Valentine's Day--and that's coming from the biggest hater of Valentine's Day that ever was. I love my family. I'm so blessed. It's hard to be a hater when my life is filled with so much love!!

What a fun day! Ooh, I'm so jealous. We went to costco around 3 to get chocolate-dipped strawberries, but they were all out! Other than that, we laid pavers and worked in the yard til 10! Crazy, but glad it's done. Thanks for sharing what you guys did
