Happy 10th Birthday, Ty!!!

Yesterday was Ty's 10th birthday, but we've been celebrating since Thanksgiving weekend!!
G&G Hawkins were here over Thanksgiving and before they left they wanted to see Ty open his present, so he got an early surprise.

Then, Kev had to go to Seattle on business for the week, so we had to have Ty's birthday dinner the Saturday before his birthday. It's no surprise that he chose pizza...although we had pizza the night before. He was very thoughtful, however...he chose to go to Chili's so that Kevin and I wouldn't have to eat pizza again, and he got to order his own mini pizza. On Sunday he decided that he needed to have steak and sticky rice for his birthday dinner, and convinced us to allow him to open his presents from G&G Lewis and his cousins. He also convinced me to let him have his new shoes early.

He got $$ from G&G Lewis,

and a fun Nerf gun from the cousins.
On the morning of his birthday we had "Happy Birthday Pancakes" with a candle and a song.

And finally, last night I had YW's, so I dragged Ty, Treyson, and Tate with me. (Kev was still out of town, Tanner is 12 now so he has YM's, and I didn't feel right asking Ty to tend his younger bro's on his b-day) Lucky for Ty, we had PIZZA!!! He couldn't have been happier!!! When we got home he opened his present from Kev and I. It was a NIKE football.

He also opened cards from Auntie Char and Uncle Don, G&G Hawkins, an e-card from G&G Lewis, and a card with $$ from Auntie Trisha and family.

There's nothing like stretching out a birthday for TWO weeks and milking his mom for all she's got...(what a sucker!!).
I sure love Ty and am so thankful that he's part of our family. He has a beautiful smile and a loving, infectious personality. My life is better because he's in it!
Happy 10th Birthday, Ty!!!
