My poor wall was on the receiving end of some major pre-teen hormones.
In the process, a cell phone was taken away, and arrangements are being made to pay for and help fix the damage. These are the moments that being parent kinda stinks, but it was definitely a good teaching moment about how every single action has a consequence. Hopefully my wall won't take another beating anytime in the near future. And, hopefully the lesson was learned. Time will tell.

Yikes! I'm sure this was not a happy moment, esp since the phone dissapeared!
p.s- I forgot that we have a party to attend tomorrow night. sigh. We'll make it over soon. time is flying. i just need to quit work and be home. maybe lunch next week??
Oh my! My brother did that once and I remember walking by it every day and thinking was a bad boy he's been. Now I look back and I just laugh about it. Hang in there, Tina!
Maren read this and said, "See Mom, he has a phone!" And I said, "Yeah, and it's already been taken away!"
I'm sorry you had to go through this one. I also remember my brother chasing me up the stairs and me running as fast as I could slamming my parents bedroom door and locking it. He then decided it would be a good idea to kick his foot clear through to the other side. All the while my mom was downstairs in a Primary meeting. Good times.
Hopefully one day far, far away you can all giggle about this as I did when I wrote about my brother.
I am still laughing. Jake tells a story similar to this, when his parents were sitting in the living room getting interviewed by the stake president, who is complementing them on their kids, when all of a sudden one boy runs into the house, being chased by the other who is yelling, "you are such a big piece of crap! I hate you!" and then I think a hole was kicked into the wall. Maybe it got his parents out of a calling.
