Never Forget

It's hard to believe that 7 years have gone by since this:
I woke up that day anxiously awaiting the birth of Treyson (who's due date happened to be Sept. 11th) but my excitement quickly turned to sadness as I was bombarded by images on my t.v. that will never leave my mind. It became more real to me earlier this year as I traveled to New York and stood at the site of the terrorist attacks, in complete and utter awe of the amount of destruction that still remains 7 years later. I'm proud to be an American and forever grateful for the privileges and blessings I enjoy on a daily basis.

I was going to do a post too that day. I shared with my kids what happened and Taylor went to her room crying and Carter just kept asking question after question. That was a day I will definitely never forget...I remember exactly what I was doing too. BTW, you did a great job on a "fun" lesson today. You are the best.
